In short

We only collect what you enter in the “Become a beta tester” and “Pre-order” forms.

Your data is never sold or used for advertising. The website uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.

You can delete your data at any time, in one click, using the link included in every email we send.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is INOVERNA, SASU with share capital of €1,000, 13 rue des Platanes, 94320 Thiais, France (SIREN 854 079 530, RCS Créteil), which develops Usra Home.

The data we collect

“Become a beta tester” form: first name, email address, phone number (optional), country, city, number of adults in the household, number of children by age group (0-2, 3-5, 6-9, 10-13 and 14-17), type of phone (Android or iPhone), what interests you most, availability to give feedback, and your consent.

“Pre-order” form: first name, last name, email address, phone number, country, city, quantity, chosen option (Usra Home Display screen or your own tablet), your consent and your confirmation that you understand no payment is requested.

Technical data: date of submission and confirmation, website language, and technical logs (including IP address) used for security and to limit abusive submissions.

We never ask for bank details, or for any child’s first name or date of birth.

Why we use it, and on what basis

Running the beta (choosing participating families, sending you the app, collecting your feedback): based on your consent.

Handling your pre-order (recording your reservation, informing you before orders open): steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. A pre-order is a free reservation, with no commitment and no guaranteed price.

Contacting you about your request: based on your consent (beta) or on pre-contractual steps (pre-order).

Producing aggregated, anonymous statistics, such as the number of requests per country: Inoverna’s legitimate interest in preparing the launch. No one can be identified from them.

Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse (technical logs): Inoverna’s legitimate interest.

Email confirmation

After you submit a form, we email you so you can confirm your request. Without confirmation, your data is deleted within 30 days.

Once your request is confirmed, the Usra Home team receives an internal notification so it can handle it.

Who can access it

Only authorised members of the Usra Home team at Inoverna can access your data. It is never sold, rented or transferred.

We use the following service providers, who act only on our instructions:

Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland): website hosting (Firebase Hosting) and storage of form data (Cloud Firestore, European Union region).

OVH Hosting Inc. (Canada): hosting of the Inoverna servers that process the forms. Data passes through them and is not stored there permanently.

Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France): sending confirmation and information emails.

OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France): domain names and forwarding of the emails you send us.

Where your data goes

Your data is stored in the European Union.

When you submit a form, it passes through servers located in Canada. Canada benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission, which recognises a level of protection equivalent to that of the European Union.

Some providers, such as Google, may process data from countries outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework [to be verified].

How long we keep it

Unconfirmed request: deleted within 30 days.

Beta testers: for the duration of the beta, then 6 months.

Pre-orders: until Usra Home’s commercial launch, then 12 months.

Technical logs: short retention [period to be specified].

If you use the “delete my data” link, your data is erased immediately.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing, to object to it and to data portability.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect what was done before.

In France, you can also set instructions on what happens to your data after your death.

How to exercise your rights

The simplest way: click the “delete my data” link included in every email we send.

For any other request, write to confidentialite@usrahome.com . We reply within one month. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you to confirm it.

Complaints

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

People living in Tunisia

The processing of your data also complies with Organic Law No. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data.

It is subject to the required formalities with the INPDP. Your data is collected with your express consent. Its transfer outside Tunisia, to the European Union and Canada, is governed in accordance with this law.

In particular, you have the right to access, rectify and object, which you can exercise as described above.

Children

The forms are intended for adults. If you are under 18, please do not fill them in.

We collect no data about children other than the number of children in the household by age group: no first name, no date of birth.

Security

Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is restricted to the authorised team. Links sent by email are personal and expire after a limited time. Repeated submissions are rate-limited to prevent abuse.

In the event of a data breach, we notify the competent authority and, where the law requires it, the people concerned.

Cookies and audience measurement

The website uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.

Only one functional cookie is set: firebase-language-override. It remembers the language you chose, for 1 year. It is necessary for the website to work and therefore does not require your consent.

If enabled: anonymous audience measurement, without cookies, using a tool we host ourselves (Umami). It counts page views without identifying you or following you from one website to another.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. If we make a significant change, we will inform registered people by email.
